Terry and and his Dance Company are dedicated to teaching country western dance in the traditional style-----a style that goes far back in the history of the American West. The foundation of his style is a respect and regard for the woman. Terry teaches each of his male students to be a strong lead, but to lead in a manner that facilitates the pleasure and sense of acomplishment of the ladies they dance with.

At the same time, Terry teaches the female students the ways to anticipate the sequence of the dance and to adjust to the style of their partner to achieve the rapport that leads to dancing well together.

Terry teaches both Partner Dancing and Group Dance. Partner Dancing includes the Half-Step, Two-step, the Triple-Step and the Waltz. Group Dancing includes the Cotton Eye Joe and the Shuffle.
